"Refused to Replace Broken Item"
I'm in the UK and bought a bunch of stuff for my kid's birthday—first time shopping here, and it wasn't cheap. Really wish I'd checked out these reviews before placing my order! The customer support is just terrible. One of the things I got was obviously defective and broke after being worn only five times. I waited for them to get back to me, and all they said was to 'take it to a tailor.' I replied, explaining that the item was faulty and they should sort it out or swap it, but now they're just ignoring me. Honestly, I wouldn't tell anyone to shop here. There are plenty of other places selling similar stuff for less money, and I bet their support is way better—because it honestly can't get much worse than what Fabric of the Universe offers. Seems like they couldn't care less about their products or their customers.

"Customer Support Is Nowhere to Be Found"
Trying to get help from their customer support was a nightmare. I spent two months reaching out about sizing questions, explaining why the size chart didn’t work for me, and after all that time, the only response I got was basically, 'check the chart.' Super frustrating. I needed advice on US sizes because I wanted to surprise my American husband, but living in Denmark means we use different sizing, and I couldn’t just measure him. Whether I messaged them on Facebook or emailed, it made no difference—support was just useless.
Also, their product videos are packed with AI-generated content, like they think it’ll boost sales. Not gonna lie, it’s mostly AI images of half-dressed women, clearly just trying to bait people. I’m not anti-AI, but this is just desperate and off-putting. Never seen another brand go this far.
As for the stuff I did buy before, my husband hasn’t had any complaints yet… but if he does, it’s gonna be a problem.
And don’t even get me started on the fact that they run two different websites. When I found that out, it just screamed scam to me, especially with all the other issues and the flood of negative reviews.

"Decals Wear Off Fast on Bombers"
Picked up two bomber jackets—the kitsune and the oni. After just a month of wearing the kitsune for a couple hours daily, most of the designs started peeling off. The oni lasted a bit longer, but its decals are also coming off after a few more months. On the bright side, the material is tough and keeps you warm. Really, the only big issue here is how quickly the decals start to fade.

"Decals on Bombers"
I picked up a couple of bombers (the kitsune and the oni) and after just a month of wearing the kitsune for a couple hours daily, most of the decals peeled off. The oni fared a bit better, but after a few more months, those decals started to come off as well. Other than that, the fabric is tough and keeps you warm; the main issue is definitely the decals.

"Disappointing Quality and Service from FotU H-Type 001A Hoodie"
I picked up the H-Type 001A Ultra Heavy Black Hoodie from Fabric of the Universe. Not long after I started wearing it, I noticed some stitching issues and fraying at the sleeve ends. At first, I figured maybe I’d done something wrong, but the problems just kept getting worse. The seams started coming apart even more, especially around the armpits and a few other spots, and the fabric began to tear.
I reached out to FotU about all these issues, but they refused to acknowledge any fault. They insisted the hoodie was fine when sold and blamed their strict 15-day return policy for not helping me. Honestly, their customer service was pretty disappointing, especially since I found out from other reviews and forums that I’m not the only one with these complaints.
For something made in China and sold at a premium price, I expected way better quality. The material is supposed to be super heavy-duty, but it just didn’t hold up. In the end, FotU didn’t offer any real solution or try to make things right.
Bottom line: I won’t be shopping with them again. I just can’t trust this company.

"H-Type 001A Ultra Heavy Black Hoodie - FotU Review"
I recently picked up this hoodie from FotU, the H-Type 001A Ultra Heavy Black model. After a few weeks of use, I noticed some issues with the stitching and fabric at the sleeves. Initially, I thought it was just me being careless, but things got worse. The fabric started to loosen, and soon enough, I found rips in the armpits and other areas, with the stitching deteriorating further.
I reached out to FotU about these problems, but they didn’t seem to take responsibility. They claimed it was 'well beyond our return and exchange period'—which is only 15 days, mind you. Their business practices are pretty questionable, especially since I found out there are other customers facing the same issues (check out Trustpilot for more feedback).
To top it off, this hoodie was made in China, yet they charge a premium price for what turns out to be low quality. I expected something ultra-heavy to be tough and long-lasting, but that’s not the case here.
In the end, they didn’t offer any real solutions or show any interest in keeping a customer happy. I won’t be buying from them again; this company just isn’t reliable.
